About me

I am a literary translator with a particular passion for lively and touching stories. During my Master's degree in Literary Translation at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, I was able to acquire valuable skills in precise translation and creative writing. Thanks to my Bachelor's degrees in English, German and Scandinavian Studies, I have also gained a deep linguistic understanding of English and Swedish as well as extensive literary knowledge that enriches my work. Step into The Morning Library and let's enter the enchanting world of storytelling together!

I particularly enjoy translating children's books, ecocritical literature and postcolonial fiction, as I have worked extensively on these topics during my studies. But I also enjoy translating general fiction as well as fantasy, historical novels, romance and much more.

When I am not sitting at my desk, I like to read books from a wide variety of genres, travel to Sweden as often as I can and buy piles of Swedish books that are hard to come by in Germany.
